Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder that affects girls. It's characterized by missed menstrual cycles, excess levels of androgens (male hormones), and the presence of multiple small cysts on the ovaries. These structures are fluid-filled sacs that grow when eggs don't mature properly. The exact reasons of PCOS are unknown
